College Football Week 14 Preview

#1 Auburn takes on #19 South Carolina in the SEC Championship game. Auburn's national title chances are on the line while South Carolina is looking for a BCS bowl game. Auburn's defense will need to step up and stop the South Carolina offense led by Stephen Garcia, Alshon Jeffery and Marcus Lattimore. The Auburn defense as been consistently thrashed, especially through the air, all season. The South Carolina defense will need to continue to pressure  Cam Newton and force him to beat them passing not running like he did the first game. I see South Carolina having a big game offensively, especially passing, but Cam Newton will again rally the troops to get the win and they should head to the National Championship Game.

#2 Oregon takes on Oregon St in the "Civil War" Saturday. Oregon should keep up their slow start strong finish offense to get past their rivals Oregon St. I think LaMichael James will have a big game on the ground while Darren Thomas should have a solid game throwing. If Oregon St wants to challenge the Ducks they will need Jacquizz Rodgers to have a big game on the ground and slow down the pace of the game.

#13 Nebraska will play their last game in the Big 12 in the Big 12 Championship game against #9 Oklahoma. Nebraska will need Taylor Martinez to be healthy while Roy Helu Jr and Rex Burkhead will need to have a big game on the ground to help them get the win. Quarterback Landry Jones will need to have another big game on the Saturday to help the Sooners get past the Cornhuskers.

#11 Boise St looks to bounce back as they play Utah St. Look for Boise to come back strong and blowout Utah St behind a big games from Kellen Moore, Titus Young, and Doug Martin. Boise is still looking for possibly a BCS game.

#15 Virginia Tech will take on #21 Florida St in the ACC Championship Game. Tyrod Taylor needs to continue to stay active in the backfield and have another big game passing while Ryan Williams will need to continue to break tackles and have a big game on the ground. Chris Ponder will need to have another big game through the air for the Seminoles to pull off the upset in the Championship Game.

#17 Nevada will try to keep momentum rolling after their huge win last week as they take on Louisiana Tech. Nevada's Colin Kaepernick and Vai Taua will need to have big games once again for the Wolfpack to advance to 11-1.

#24 West Virgina takes on a pitiful Rutgers team that has lost five straight. West Virginia will need to win and will need South Florida to beat UConn in order to get the BCS bid. Look for Geno Smith to have another big game and Noel Devine to run circles around the Rutgers defense in the win.
