Daily Sports Recap

NBA

Celtics blow past the Cavs 106-87. Rajon Rondo had 23 points and 12 assists and Glen Davis added 17 and 11 rebounds for the Celtics. Anderson Varejao led the Cavs with 16 points and 12 boards.

Magic win again, this time against the Pistons 90-79. Rashard Lewis had 20 for the Magic while Tayshaun Prince led the Pistons with 16.

76ers knock off the struggling Trailblazers. Elton Brand had 18 for the 76ers while Wesley Matthews had a game high 26 for the Trailblazers and LaMarcus Aldridge had 20 and 12 boards.

Amare Stoudemire had another big game as he leads the Knicks past the Nets 111-100. Stoudemire had 35 and Wilson Chandler added 27 more with 12 rebounds in the win. brook Lopez had a game high 36 for the Nets.

Grizzlies upset the Lakers 98-96. Mike Conley had 28 for the Grizzlies while Kobe led the Lakers with a game high 29.

Danny Granger and the Pacers blow by the Kings 107-98. Granger had 37 for the Pacers while Ben Udrih and DeMarcus Cousins led the Kings with 24 and 20.

Tim Duncan's triple double jolts the Spurs past the Warriors 118-98. Duncan had 15 points 18 boards and 11 assists on the night and Manu Ginobili added 27 more for the Spurs. Stephen Curry led the Warriors with 32.

College Basketball

Jared Sullinger's double double helps #2 Ohio St get past Florida St in the ACC Big Ten Challenge 58-44. Sullinger had 11 points and 12 boards and Ian Miller led the Seminoles with 11 points.

#7 Syracuse improves to 7-0 after the 78-58 win over Cornell. Rick Jackson had 17 points and 13 rebounds while Kris Joseph added 16 more for the Orange. Errick Peck led Cornell with 14.

#14 Georgetown takes over in OT to beat #8 Missouri 111-102. Austin Freemen had 31, Jason Clark had 26 and Chris Wright had 20 and 10 assists for the Hoyas. Marcus Denmon had 26 and Ricardo Ratliffe added 22 more for the Tigers.

Kemba Walker had another huge game as #9 UConn comes back to beat New Hampshire 62-55. Walker had 30 for the Huskies while Ferg Myrick led New Hampshire with 19.

#11 Kentucky destroys Boston University 91-57. Brandon Knight had 23 points and Terrance Jones had 18 and 10 rebounds in the win for UK while John Holland led Boston with 20.

#17 Tennessee uses a huge first half to beat Middle Tennessee 86-56. Tobias Harris had 21 and Scotty Hopson added 19 more for the Vols.

#21 Illinois gets past North Carolina 79-67 in the ACC Big Ten Challenge. Mike Davis led the Illini with 20 points and 10 boards. John Henson had 16 points for the Tar Heels.

#22 Washington rallies past Long Beach St 102-75. C.J. Wilcox had 20 and Isiah Thomas added 19 more for the Huskies. Casper Ware had a team high 18 for the 49ers.

#24 Gonzaga tops Eastern Washington 86-57. Steven Gray had a game high 18 for the Bulldogs while Jeff Forbes also had 18 for the Eagles.

NHL

Martin St Louis's goal in Overtime lifts the Lightning past the Maple leafs 4-3 in overtime. St. Louis had two goals in the game to led the Lightning.

 Both Patrick Kane and Jonathon Toews had two goals to help the Blackhawks beat the Blues 7-5.

Rinne shuts out the Coyotes as the Predators win 3-0.

Thrashers get their 6th straight win as they beat the Avalanche 3-2 in overtime.

Henrik Zetterberg's two goals help the Redwings pass up the Sharks 5-3.
