Viking's Childress Fired

After a terrible 31-3 loss to rival Green Bay the Vikings dropped to 3-7 on the season and Brad Childress was let go as the head coach of the Minnesota Vikings. Childress will be replaced by defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier for the rest of the season. Childress's Vikings came into the season with very high expectations, even some articles and magazines had them as preseason Super Bowl champs, but the Vikings never produced. Childress was in his 5th season and had an over record of 40-37 as head coach of the Vikings. Childress's firing is just two weeks after the firing of Wade Phillips in Dallas.
