Chargers vs 49ers
The Chargers dominated the 49ers in every aspect of the game to get the 34-7 win and move to 8-6 on the season. The Chargers defense held the 49ers to only 192 total yards and many of those came on their only scoring drive late in the forth quarter when they were down 34-0. The defense also picked off a Alex Smith pass. Phillip Rivers, Vincent Jackson and the Chargers offense tore apart the 49ers defense all game. Rivers ended the game with 273 yards and three touchdown while Vincent Jackson had 112 yards and three scores. Rivers passed 4,000 yards on the season, this was his third straight time doing he has done that. The 49ers fall to 5-9 and are out of playoff contention because of the loss while the Chargers are a half game behind the Chiefs in the AFC West.
