Thursday Night Football

The Steelers dominated every aspect of the game in rout to a big 27-3 win over the Panthers. It took a little for the Steelers to get hold of the game but they exploded for 17 points in the second quarter to have the 20-0 lead heading into halftime. Ben Roethlisberger finished the game with 320 passing yards, 43 yard touchdown to Mike Wallace and a rushing touchdown from one yard out. Wallace had 104 receiving yards and a touchdown in the win. The Steelers defense gave up only a total of 119 yards on the night and forced two turnovers. Jonathan Stewart had 71 rushing yards for the Panthers. The Steelers moved to 11-4 on the season and will face the Browns next Sunday in the season finale. If the Steelers beat the Browns next week they will gain a first round bye in the playoffs and will win the AFC North. The Panthers fell to a league worst 2-13 record and will get the first round draft pick in the 2011 draft.
