Thursday Sports Action

NFL
Thursday Night Football in Miami-Bears Shutout Dolphins at Sun life Stadium

Third string quarterback Tyler Thigpen in his first start since 2008 and the rest of the Dolphins offense had no production. The Wildcat was non existent and every time Thigpen dropped back he was pressured by the Bears line, especially Peppers who ended the game with 3 sacks and several QB hurries.
One the other side of the field the Bears offense wasn't very productive either, with the exception of Matt Forte who had 95 yards and a TD. The Bears managed to only muster up 16 points, most thanks to the leg of Robby Gould who nailed 3 FG's.
The win puts the Bears into first place in the NFC North. This was a huge win for the Bears because the rest of the season is a brutal schedule with games against the Eagles, Jets, Patriots, Packers, and Vikings
The loss for the Dolphins puts them at.500 for the season and 3rd in the AFC East as they face a Oakland team that is looking good this season.
